Seven nurses went to San Antonio to attend the Texas Nurses' Convention. When they arrived at the famed La Mansion hotel on the Riverwalk, they were told only six rooms were available. Since each of the seven nurses had reserved a room of her own, they demanded to see the manager. The hotel manager, scratched his head, and came up with an elegant solution:He placed 2 of the nurses in room No.1 (told them it was temporary). He placed the third nurse in room No.2, the fourth nurse in room No.3 and the fifth nurse in room No.4. He placed the sixth nurse into room No.5. He then returned to room No.1 and took the seventh nurse and placed her into room No.6. Walla! Each nurse had a room of her own!
